Teradata Real-Time Interaction Manager 3.2 now globally available.Published: Friday, 14 March 2014 09:15
Celebrus Technologies, provider of tagging-free multi-channel digital big data software, today announces it has signed Teradata (NYSE: TDC), the analytic data platforms, marketing applications and services company, to a global agreement to resell Celebrus software with Teradata analytic platforms as a joint offer.
Today, 79% of digital marketers do not have a complete single-customer view or have the necessary data and analytics to derive actionable insight in real-time across multiple platforms¹. The joint offering provides marketers with sophisticated technology to gain one comprehensive view of customers across different digital channels by combining profile data about customers with historical and situational data about those customers’ actions.
Shop Direct, the UK’s largest multi-brand online retailer and home to digital department stores including Very.co.uk and Littlewoods.com, has used this joint technology offering from Celebrus and Teradata to drive a multitude of projects to improve its marketing and increase business efficiencies. For example, through having this increased visibility, Shop Direct has been able to more accurately measure specific customer actions – such as abandoned shopping baskets, browsing that does not result in a purchase, and switching from Web to phone interactions – and use these insights to drive value to the business.
Dene Jones, Customer Director at Shop Direct comments, “We have seen these benefits first hand through deploying the joint offering, including almost halving the number of catalogues that we print and distribute, significantly improving conversion and retention rates and, in email marketing alone, generating a 28 per cent uplift in incremental sales per email sent.”
Simon Burton, CEO, Celebrus Technologies comments, “The global reseller agreement strengthens the on-going relationship between our two companies and enables us to offer even more integrated solutions for organisations to power not only deeper understanding of today’s “always on” multi-channel consumer, but also treat them as individuals through true 1:1 real-time personalisation.”
Rob Berman, Vice President of Global Alliances, Teradata Corporation concludes,
“Our partnership with Celebrus is unique in that it offers a compelling solution that leverages the Teradata Unified Data Architecture (UDA) across our broad range of analytic platforms and applications. In addition, Celebrus’ ability to easily capture detailed individual purchasing behaviour is a perfect match for our Teradata Aster Discovery platform. When coupled with our Teradata Real-Time Interaction Manager it allows for the execution of 1:1 campaigns, based on actual customer web site behaviour and responses from previous email campaigns.”
In addition to Shop Direct Group, other joint customers of Celebrus Technologies and Teradata include a top-five global retail bank that is rolling out one-to-one real-time website personalisation and retailer JD Williams.
