milk&more, Dairy Crest’s online home delivery service selects Speed-Trap to measure conversions and understand online customer behavior.

15 March 2010: Dairy Crest, the UK’s leading chilled dairy foods company, has implemented online customer insight software from Speed-Trap, in order to better understand the motivations and intentions of visitors to its website. Dairy Crest expects to improve conversion rates, predict web traffic peaks and assist with load forecasts for its new milk&more website – www.milkandmore.co.ukAs one of the ten largest food companies in Britain, Dairy Crest is the UK's leading chilled dairy foods company, with Cathedral City, Clover and Countrylife amongst their brand portfolio. In 2007, Dairy Crest introduced milk&more; a flexible, online service, delivering fresh milk and over 250 other daily essentials to the doorstep in order to modernize their traditional milkman service.

The milk&more website allows customers to register details and place their order up to 9pm the night before the next delivery, update details and amend delivery information if necessary. Each year, milk&more makes over 42 million home deliveries nationwide and online customers have been shown to purchase from across the range of daily essentials available, thereby increasing overall spend.

milk&more wanted to make improvements to the website so as to enhance the online customer experience and attract greater numbers of registrations. In order to do this, Speed-Trap are providing them with a deeper understanding of where their online visitors are coming from and how they are using the website. milk&more can now monitor both the performance of the website, the traffic trends and determine where future enhancements can be made.

Moving forward, milk&more anticipate using Speed-Trap more extensively to gain a better understanding of its customers’ interests and buying behavior.
