DDS provides the maximum flexibility and access to the most detailed information on the visitors’ and users of your online channel applications and web sites. The Online View for your Information Architecture

You define the mechanism you want to use for customer identification (e-mail, log-in, cookie, in-page data, or any combination of the above) and the DDS provides a linkage to that Customer ID from every table.
