Oracle DDA - Direct Database Access for Large-scale Systems
Celebrus Technologies have supported Oracle databases since our first versions are launched. In 2009 we provided a much enhanced database access engine for Oracle - known as the Oracle DDA.
This version is optimized for large-scale, high performance deployments including support for the Exadata warehouse appliances.
Celebrus Technologies software has been tested and certified to operate with the following Oracle releases.
Oracle 10g,
Oracle 11gR1
Oracle 11gR2
The component provides the ability for Celebrus servers to utilize Oracle systems to store Events, DDS, or ABI databases and datamarts.
Extreme Performance
Oracle DDA is designed to allow implementation of high performance solutions. The system supports partitioned Oracle environments and RAC - and when deployed with a Sun Oracle Database Machine, extremely large and complex environment can be supported.
The Oracle OCI JDBC driver uses client-side Oracle software and configuration files to determine load balancing rules, access points to the data warehouse, and failover handling, ensuring that client software (such as the Celebrus server(s)) can maintain a robust connection to the database/data warehouse at all times.
