CCS - The Core Component Set
The CCS (or Core Component Set) provides all the foundation-level components for a Celebrus Technologies system deployment. It includes all the components needed to capture and process data from any online applications, as well as the system’s management modules. We have also included a complete reporting suite and demographics module, as well as cross-domain tracking and multi-domain (portal) components.
This bundle ensures that customers are often able to extend their use of an installed Celebrus system to address additional applications without further license purchases – thus gaining further return on their investment in our systems
The following components are included in CCS:

Collection Server
This server supports capture of a real-time “event stream” from any instrumented application or web site. It communicates with the CSAs (client-side adapters) deployed in web sites, web applications and applications using Adobe’s Flash, Flex or AIR environments.
The CSA and collection servers patented interactions mean that Celebrus is able to offer it’s unique Tag-Free® implementation model. The user either includes a single HTML statement in the page to include the Celebrus static CSA JavaScript file, or uses the Web Servers, Firewalls or load balancers to inject this “include statement” into an existing site or application (in Flash/Flex environments a similar process is used to include the Celebrus CSA into the application or player). Once the CSA is in place, it will report on all required interactions and events.
The events to be collected are defined via dynamic rules in the collection server, and range from simple page impressions, through mouse events to notifications of changes or presence of specific items of displayed content, and JavaScript variable changes or information on document scroll position and even apparent network speed. The collection servers capture about 30 types of event provided with over 200 associated event properties.
Celebrus's collection capabilities are completely unmatched, patented and proven. We can support applications implemented using any of the following technologies:
- Static & Dynamic HTML
- AJAX and Secure / HTTPS / SSL sites
- Adobe Flash or Flex –based applications
- Video content played via Silverlight, Adobe, Real-Player, Windows Media Player or QuickTime players.
- Adobe stand-alone AIR applications
- Any web server, content management system or app server environment
Our dynamic collection technology also allows collection from almost any type of client device, including:
- Any JavaScript Enabled Browser (beacon support for non-scripting browsers is also provided
- PC, Mac, Sun, Linux, Unix clients etc.
- Gaming platforms (Nintendo Wii, Playstation etc.)
- Mobile devices (iPhone, Nokia, Samsung etc.)
- Mobile browsers

Analytics Server
The analytics server utilizes Celebrus Technologies' unique analytical and behavioral models to transform the collected event data into business events, visitor data, environmental statistics and customer experience information.
The analytics server processes each visitor’s session as a unique context, the result being a cloud of data objects linked to (and describing) the session and it’s associated user.
This data is then surfaced (delivered) via one or more pre-defined data models. Additional information on the various database schema, data models and datamarts that Celebrus offers is available from this data model pages ABI, DDS, IWI.

Management Console
The Management console provides a single point for the operational management of Celebrus systems. It provides access to the management interfaces of all components, error and performance reporting and cluster management interfaces.
Our systems are designed to operate in lights-out environments, and provide email alerting and, where possible, self-healing and self-learning functionality. Large systems can be constructed by utilizing our clustering capabilities, which also allow for 1-for-1 or 1-for-1 load balancing or redundant systems.

Demographics Module
CCS includes a demographics database that utilizes the IP address of visitor’s systems determine geographic location, organizational and ISP data for the visitor. This provides location to a town-level, and information on the organization registering/owning the users network connection. Customers with a current support agreement also have access to regular updates to the Maxmind® database that the demographics module uses – ensuring that their databases are maintain with current/valid IP look-up data.

Portal & Cross Domain Modules
These two modules allow visitor to be tracked across multiple internet domains. These modules ensure that visitors who’s sessions cross multiple, instrumented sites or domains operated by the same organization and instrumented via the same Celebrus cluster are treated and analyzed as one continuous visiting session.
Portal provides this functionality for multiple domains/sites where visitors enter via a single portal site. The Portal module does not require any 3rd-party cookies or “cross site tagging”, thus making deployment completely automatic.
Cross Domain allows the same capability for groups of sites/domains where visitors may enter from any point. Cross Domain also requires no “cross-site tagging” or links, and simply uses short term (sub-second) 3rd-party temporary cookies to operate.
These two modules therefore provide a complete solution to the multi-site tracking problem via a “Zero-Touch” Tag-Free® deployment.
