Simon Burton - Chief Executive

As Chief Executive Officer for Celebrus Technologies, Simon is responsible for worldwide operations and all aspects of sales and business development in order to ensure that the company meets its corporate sales and revenue goals.

Prior to his appointment as CEO in 2009, Simon spent the previous nine years as Vice President Sales at Celebrus. During this period Simon established both a successful sales team and strategic relationships with several of the world’s largest computer software organisations. 

Before joining Celebrus, Simon was International Vice President for Maxoptix Corporation, a pioneering joint venture between Japanese optical disk Manufacturer Kubota and US disk drive manufacturer, Maxtor Corporation. At Maxoptix, he built a successful pan-European sales team and successfully formulated and established their international sales strategy. Simon was responsible for developing and managing the corporation’s major European OEM accounts, specialising in the Medical Imaging, Telco/Switching Systems and Broadcast/Audio, Video sectors.

Simon's 28 years’ experience of indirect business relationships is ideally suited to the Celebrus Technologies indirect business model, which enables the company to support global sales into a wide variety of vertical and horizontal markets via an extensive range of partnerships and resellers.  Simon’s interests include travel, music (especially Pink Floyd), his two teenage daughters and all sports (particularly golf).

Malcolm Duckett - Vice President Group Strategy

After spending the early part of his working life in Research and IT functions with Shell, Malcolm moved from 'User' to 'Vendor', working in Computer graphics and Telecommunications companies in support management, marketing director and product management roles.

Following a spell as an 'Industrial Storyteller' founding and running a high-tech PR company he became one of the group who founded Celebrus Technologies, and is listed as one of the patentees behind their Dynamic Collection technology. This unique approach to data gathering makes Celebrus Technologies unique in the market.

Malcolm has spoken around the world on the application of advanced technology to business, and with Celebrus Technologies has focused on helping marketing and business functions within online organisations understand just what can be achieved by close analysis of the way their customers interact with their web sites and applications.

Using Celebrus's unique dataset Malcolm and the Celebrus analysts have been able to help major B2B and B2C internet businesses realise triple-digit improvements in their conversion rates, and marketing campaign ROI. While he is not a web designer, in seven years of working in this area he has gained a unique perspective on what works and what does not in the 'online world'.

Lincoln Goldspink - Chief Technology Officer

Lincoln joined the Celebrus team in 2001, took over management of the software engineering function in 2002, and became CTO for Celebrus Technologies in 2007. Lincoln is co-patentee for a number of Celebrus's market-leading innovations. Lincoln has specialised in the application of cutting-edge Java technology to real-time and mission critical systems.

Prior to Celebrus Technologies Lincoln worked for Telecommunications company ECI Telecom developing advanced management systems for their line of high-performance public network switching systems.

After graduating Lincoln joined weapon systems company GEC Marconi and became design authority for the man-machine interfaces for several command and control, radar and weapons control projects.

Lincoln brings a strong software engineering background based in delivering high-availability and high-performance software solutions using a rapid prototyping approach enabled by Java's object-oriented capabilities to deliver flexible, customer-focused functionality with very short lead times.

Carmel Warren - Chief Financial Officer

Carmel joined Celebrus Technologies in 2007 and brings a wealth of experience in the financial management of businesses large and small.

Carmel is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience in various financial positions within multinational companies. Her career started in Ernst and Young, London in 1986, progressing onto Debenhams PLC and then onto ExxonMobil.

At ExxonMobil, Carmel had financial responsibility for a variety of departments and projects including Financial Accounting for the UK group, Exploration division, Group Controls adviser, Consolidation Manager following the merger between Exxon and Mobil and Contracts Manager for contracts exceeding £200m.  More recently Carmel joined Brightside PLC, assisting them through their AIM flotation.

Russell Tewkesbury - Vice President Sales

Russell joined Celebrus in 2008 to look after the Insurance, Aggregator and Travel sectors.  Since then he has taken responsibility for all aspects of sales and business development globally to ensure the company meets corporate sales and revenue goals. In addition to heading up Sales, Russell is responsible for Partner Enablement and has a hands-on role developing strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value Added Resellers (VARs) as well as end users.

Prior to joining Celebrus Russell championed its technology at IS Solutions where he managed the Sales and Marketing team through the difficult early 00’s and was responsible for many multi-million pound accounts and new business wins. As Sales Manager at IS Solutions, Russell was instrumental in developing the relationship between Celebrus and IS Solutions, now a valued business partnership.  Russell’s 24 years of IT sector experience began in a technical role at Digital Equipment.  Having been involved in the internet since 1995 delivering individually personalised websites, Russell understood early on that the "only" way to service customers is on an individual basis, hence his perfect fit with Celebrus. Russell's interests include his young family, all sports, movies, eating out and technology (closet geek).

Katharine Hulls - Vice President Marketing

As VP Marketing for Celebrus Technologies, Katharine is responsible for all marketing and PR, both direct to end-users and via a worldwide network of technology partners and resellers.  Katharine has over 15 years’ marketing management experience with a strong focus on data and analytics software and service providers.

Before joining Celebrus in July 2011 Katharine was Head of Marketing, EMEA for Experian Marketing Services which encompasses brands such as CheetahMail, QAS and Mosaic.  Earlier during her tenure at Experian Katharine was also Head of Marketing for CheetahMail, Experian’s email marketing solution, across EMEA and UK/Ireland.

Prior to her three years at Experian, Katharine worked for predictive analytics software vendor SPSS, (before their acquisition by IBM), where she led and reshaped the UK Marketing team and was part of the EMEA Marketing Management group. Previous to that, Katharine was responsible for marketing communications across EMEA and APAC for web security company Websense, and before that Katharine held a variety of EMEA and global marketing management roles at industry analyst Gartner.

Davin McLoone - Vice President Support

Davin started with Celebrus in 2006 as part of the Customer Support team. Since then he has taken responsibility for the entire Services function at Celebrus, a role split between building a Services area which fulfils the needs of direct Celebrus clients, and helping Celebrus partners build their skills to fulfil the needs of their own clients. Davin's broad experience in change control management, consultancy and delivery has given him a unique outlook on how to provide a service.

After graduating with an MSc in his native Ireland Davin came to Celebrus via roles in Sweden and the UK working for  organisations such as Vodafone. Davin's interests include motorsports, motorcycles, travel, technology, music, film and gaming.
